Who is Ethan Merry

Ethan Merry is a Nashville-based guitarist, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist delivering dynamic, polished live performances. A graduate of Belmont University’s Commercial Guitar program, he blends rock, blues, and a variety influences into versatile sets while actively collaborating, co-writing, and recording from his home studio.

Originally from the small town of Arkport in western New York, Ethan Merry developed his musical foundation playing with other musicians and immersing himself in rock and blues traditions.

After moving to Nashville, he earned a degree in Commercial Guitar from Belmont University in 2025 where he built a strong foundation in performance, collaboration, and professional musicianship. During this time, he performed regularly and was part of a winning act in Belmont Universitiy's Battle of the Bands.

Now an active performer in the Nashville music scene, Ethan works as a guitarist, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist in a variety of settings. He is a versatile player, comfortable across multiple styles, and able to read music and work in both live and studio environments. He performs as a solo artist, with bands, and as a session musician.

He has recorded in top Nashville studios including Columbia Studio A, Ocean Way, and the Quonset Hut, and regularly collaborates with other artists through co-writing and recording from his home studio. In addition to performing, he has experience teaching guitar and piano, working with students of varying skill levels.

Ethan specializes in professional live music for venues, private events, and collaborative projects. Known for his reliability and musicality, he focuses on creating the right atmosphere while consistently delivering a high-quality performance.
